Is it intended that Big-Boned increase your "strength modifier" (ex making an 18str be +5) or be a "modifier to your strength" (ex an 18 strength becomes a 19)? If it is the former, is this increase to your modifier intended to be applied to all things that would use strength or just things similar to lifting (or lifting adjacent things)?

Big Boned provides a bonus to your Strength modifier, improving it. This means whatever normal Strength score you might have is improved by +1. For example, a hero with a +4 Strength bonus counts as having +5 modifier instead.
