Thanks, I missed that information. Too bad, I would have loved a mockup to have even a vague idea of what it will look like.

Didn't see any mentioning of a new Alpha in the update #26. Could you cite it please?

That's the initial release of the Alpha.

Did I miss the character sheet template in the alpha pdf, or is there none?
Take a look here: viewtopic.php?f=123&t=5616

I would like to see some typical npc’s included in the book. Some recurring characters that could be used in the setting, something like the mayor of Upsala, a constable, a journalist, a priest, a noble etc - recurring characters that the Society are a likely to run into - with personalities, agendas and sevrets.

Add some typical named vaesens as well - like write-ups of some of the illustrated ones (like page 58, 112, 162, 180) with backgrounds, motivations and relations to other vaesens and humanity. For instance, the queen on page 112, details of her court, helpers, powers etc.

There are some story hints and places in the book, but more details would probably be apprieciated. It will be easier to come up with own scenarios and npc’s if there are more or less detailed information about a couple typical ones included.

I don’t know about Vaesen, but I fully agree on the major NPCs: like Lestrade in the Sherlock Holmes books, some people are likely to frequently run into our players. The Archbishop of Upsala should be depicted in length, since I doubt the Church approves of people who claim to see “pagan monsters”. The Chief of Police too, and at least one nosy journalist.

I understand that you wish to have a pre-constructed world, with well-defined characters. But didn´t mean "well-defined" strict and rigid, too?

It´s completly okay to have "Dr. Hans Ole Chewieson" as Mayor of Upsala, including all strange habits, motivations and opinions regarding the Society summarised on a double page. But the other way would be to go and give the players a chance to define this NPC.
"Did you know the mayor? Where did you meet?"
"Describe the man!"
"How has he got knownledge/rumors about the Society?"

This way the PCs will get a much more emotional binding to the mayor and he is not just a faceless predefined NPC.

I guess much more detailed NPCs will be part of the coming mysteries and campaigns.
