Chapter 2
Operative, Gear, Option 4. "Recon drone"
Trailblazer, Gear, Option 1 "Recon drone"
Chapter 6
Exos and Vehicles, there's an item named "Drone", 4000 birr
Recon and Infiltration, there's an item named "Recon probe", 2000 birr
So, do the Operative and Trailblazer start the option of a "recon probe", or do they get a "drone" that's designed more for "probing"?
The recon probe seems to make more thematic sense, since they're using the device for exploring/spying. Drones seem like they're larger and designed for some kind of work (e.g. mining drone from later in the book). The real difference seem to be that the "drone" has the ability to manipulate its environment (the rules indicate it has arms), where as the probe seems like it's more of a floating sensor (and thus can't open doors manually, etc.).
