Obviously a different game, but I believe there is a lot of potential "cross over" between the HaqqIslam faction of Infinity (miniatures and RPG) and Coriolis. The setting is very different, but I can see some of the art, miniatures, subfactions, subplots, ideas and so on being more or less transferable.
Love the detail of these miniatures. I keep trying to find some that aren't armed to the teeth. :)
Well, meet The Tariqa, then... She isn't armed to the teeth.  ;)

Well, that's what I meant. Any halfway complex fictional political and religious system allows the analogy to the present day.

Having an actual "remake" religion in a game however...
I don't have much of a problem with that and neither do the Infinity players. Most main ideologies of this world have been twisted in Infinity and rewritten, which makes it more acceptable for players (also they realize this is not making fun of their own religion or ideas). Also, in the specific case of Haqqislam, the rewritten religion is showed as the "good guys". They are the nice people of the setting, which helps acceptation by the players (including the ones coming from Muslim cultures).

Thanks. I must have missed that one. (A dear friend of mine in Sarajevo is named Tariq, and is a Sufi.)

With Al Hawwa', the Engineer and/or Doctor from the support pack, the Saladin (love the sword detailing), & Hassassin Fiday makes... an excellent crew.
I've inquired at my FLGS about them.

I swear some of these rifles must have antigravity devices in order to be hefted. :)
(yes, yes, power armor and all makes it possible)
Space ninjas have their place and all, but too many of them kinda defeats their purpose.
