On the Hope's Last Day adventure module:
1. On page 1, the player characters section mentions that Holroyd is an android, but the "normal android rules" that this section says should apply are not explained in the module or in the starter rules booklet. Could these rules be added to one or both of the booklets?

2. Also on page 1, in the "What's the Story, Mother?" box text, the first sentence is missing the word "a" between "Hadley's Hope is" and "'shake and bake' terraforming".

3. On page 2, in the "Xenomorphs" box text:
  • The second sentence has an unnecessary space in the middle of the word "and".
  • The bullet point for the Xenomorph Drone in Tannen's Casino reads like the name of an area has been omitted and replaced with only a page number placeholder (i.e., "... trying to break through the door to the xx where Wes Osterman is hiding").

4. On page 6, in the "Secret Exit" section, the first sentence has an unnecessary space in the word "duct".

5. On page 7, in the "Storage Rooms" section, the symbol for a 6 has been replaced by "YY" by mistake.

7. On page 16, in the Xenomorph's "Speed" section, the last sentence explains that "the Xenomorph may either perform one signature attack or move (below)", but the only information directly below this paragraph is the d6 table for what incapacitated Xenormorphs might do. The word "below" should be replaced with "adjacent", unless the layout changes in the final version.

7. Several rules are referred to throughout the Xenomorphs section which are absent from the adventure module, the starter set rules booklet, or both:
  • Page 16: The "Movement" paragraph, as well as the "Wounded" and "Desperate Escape" entries in the "Incapacitated Xenomorph" table mention leaving combat. The final page reference should point towards the appropriate page in the rules booklet, to make it clear that this rule is not found in the adventure module.
  • Page 17: The final paragraph of the "Acid Splash" section instructs the reader to "see page xx for typical armor levels" when acid splashes on the floor of a building or ship. However, it is unclear which page in the rules booklet this is referring to, as the "Typical Barriers" box that provides armor levels for bulkheads, etc. doesn't mention floors or ceilings. Maybe it should, so all the armor level guides can be found in one place?
  • Page 18: The Facehugger Attacks, "Face Grapple" and "The Final Embrace" explain that it's possible to defend against these attacks. The final page reference should point towards the appropriate page in the rules booklet, to make it clear that this rule is not found in the adventure module.
  • Page 19: The Chestburster Attack, "Terrorising Hiss" mentions what an Imp would do instead on a roll of 4, but this module contains no references to other Xenomorph varieties like the Praetomorph, so no Imps actually appear in this story. Is this reference necessary here?
  • Page 19: The Chestburster Attack, "Leg Slash" mentions the busted knee serious injury, providing a page reference. However, the serious injuries table mentioned here (and mentioned in the starter rules booklet) is never presented in full in either book. Could this be added to the starter rules booklet?
  • Page 20: The Drone attack, "Headbite" mentions the ovomorphing process, but no details are provided in the adventure module or the starter set rules booklet about this process, despite the page number reference. Could a short blurb be added to this module to briefly explain this process?

The stairway - it is mentioned, that there is a stairway leading down to the multiple sublevels below, however on the map of Level 1, there is only one stairway visible, leading up. And on the Level 2, there are 2 stairways, so probably there is a mistake - the 2 stairway should be on Level 1 and the single strairway on Level 2.

The coffee machine - it is quite useless, since no player will have fatigue from lack of sleep in this scenario, so maybe replace it with something different? Idealy something that can decrease stress (like chocolate or cigarettes)

The dollars in cash - same as coffe machine, player have no use for these in this scenario, so maybe replace it with something different, like ammo for example?

Geolab East - "There are bodies here, but there is a thick blood smear on the wall" - it should be probably "There are NO bodies here", since there are no PDTs shown in this room.

PDT on Reynolds and Komisky - they are not colonists, but they have a PDT? It should be explained why.

Stasis Room - "but two are alive – surgically removed before embryo implantation, killing their victims in the process (including the colonist John J. Marachuk" - inconsistent information, since Marachuk has chestburster inside him.

Marachuk/Marachuk - the spelling is inconsistent.

MedPod - the rules for using it are not very clear. So if I want to treat someone, I just roll 10 base dice (no push)? Should the player make a MEDICAL AID roll first in order to start using it?

....

Karbous,

If you want my explanations...

1) There's only one stairway... one that goes up and down... next to the restrooms (on the left)... like you saw in the movie Aliens... on the right, you have a freight elevator that also goes up and down... it's identical in the same places on both maps (level 1 and level 2)... the freight elevator and the stairs are blocked. But it's possible to use the elevator shaft like in Alien Romulus, there must be a maintenance staircase...

2) Geolab East - that's an excellent point, there shouldn't be bodies there since there's no PDT... but we can say the bodies are ravaged and in pieces, possibly the PDT watch is no longer working...

3) PDT on Reynolds and Komiskey, they're from WY and they wear PDT watches that activate when they arrive at this kind of site, we can say it's a WY security procedure.

4) My theory for Marachuk is that he wasn't completely dead (he had a very small pulse) and the doctors still placed him in the morgue. One of the many facehuggers came by and contaminated him... I know, I know, far-fetched, but it could be an explanation...

Some errors I have discovered:

Edit (Already mentioned): Hope's Last Day, page 8: Personal Data Transmitters: Five colonists, including Maria Hemming,...
Should probably be Angela Lin, as the name was changed in the new edition?

Explosive damage is noted as eg. 3E, but it's not clarified in the rules that the "E" means explosive damage. Also It's a bit inconsistent with fire damage, as fire damage is stated under a weapon's "Special" column. Shouldn't either explosive damage then not be under "Special", like fire, or fire damage be like "2F"?

Edit (Already mentioned): Weapon cards: Armat M41A Pulse Rifle, misspelled Grenade Launcher.
Also concerning weapon cards, shouldn't all the special effects all be starting with a capital letter, eg.: NOT: Full auto, armor piercing, BUT: Full Auto, Armor Piercing? Just a minor thing.

In Hope's Last Day adventure, on page 3, it's written : "On a *1* (or whenever you feel it’s dramatically appropriate – a Drone Xenomorph approaches the PCs." There's a mix between brackets and dash.
Seven bells and all's well.
