Agree with most already said, and will not repeat. Aside from this:
  • I am lightly not a fan of the set amount of Shadow Saruman receives. It means that a LM has to basically pre-set an intended outcome, which can vary within bounds, but the players cannot 'play to discover' and potentially experience a wide breadth of the possible endings- their possibilities are per-selected. Personally, I plan on adjusting the per-adventure as I go- if the players actively work to redeem Saruman, he gains 1 shadow, if they do not he gets 2, and if they are actively despairing or support his corruption, he gains 3. Though this is only a bandage solution.
  • The version of the player map found in the inside cover displays all the landmarks. I don't think this is something that necessarily has to be changed in the published book, but even as a separate download, it would be beneficial to have a separate map without the landmarks to give to players without spoiling them.
  • p.25: Caelur says FrĂ©awine is Helm's grandsire, when really he was his great-great-grandsire. This may just be her being an unreliable source though!
  • p.101: The brackets here suggest looking at page 8 of the Moria book to read more about Balin's expedition. However, this is two bullet points- the section on page 176 of the Moria book, dedicated to the expedition would be better to point towards.
  • p.138: Just an editing thing- the bullet points of when Saruman should look at the Palantir are repeated twice. This could instead just be printed once in the first section, and the Treacherous Ending could simply suggest to ignore this instead.
  • p. 140 Should 'Devilry of Saruman' be a Dreadful Spell?

Page 25: Caelur tells that Wulf's son married Helm's daughter. As the offer was to marry Wulf with Helm's daughter, it should be written that Wulf married Helm's daughter. Maybe there has been some confusion with Freca, or it's intended to talk about a possible son of Wulf married in order to make the tale more convoluted and confused with other chronicles of the past

Page 103: Besides the three entrances described to Moria, shouldn't the players be able to use also the entrance that they used in adventure 3? whats the reason for not using it? Maybe I have missed some info?

The entrance the Company use in The Disaster of the Gladden Fields is the East-gate of Moria, which is in the Dimrill Dale (the first of the three options named on p103). It's only mentioned briefly on p 62/63, though, and could maybe be clearer for folks who aren't too familiar with Moria geography.
