- I am lightly not a fan of the set amount of Shadow Saruman receives. It means that a LM has to basically pre-set an intended outcome, which can vary within bounds, but the players cannot 'play to discover' and potentially experience a wide breadth of the possible endings- their possibilities are per-selected. Personally, I plan on adjusting the per-adventure as I go- if the players actively work to redeem Saruman, he gains 1 shadow, if they do not he gets 2, and if they are actively despairing or support his corruption, he gains 3. Though this is only a bandage solution.
- The version of the player map found in the inside cover displays all the landmarks. I don't think this is something that necessarily has to be changed in the published book, but even as a separate download, it would be beneficial to have a separate map without the landmarks to give to players without spoiling them.
- p.25: Caelur says Fréawine is Helm's grandsire, when really he was his great-great-grandsire. This may just be her being an unreliable source though!
- p.101: The brackets here suggest looking at page 8 of the Moria book to read more about Balin's expedition. However, this is two bullet points- the section on page 176 of the Moria book, dedicated to the expedition would be better to point towards.
- p.138: Just an editing thing- the bullet points of when Saruman should look at the Palantir are repeated twice. This could instead just be printed once in the first section, and the Treacherous Ending could simply suggest to ignore this instead.
