This is how i was thinking that it would work.The main reason I thought ...
"If you wan't to give a friend some of your rations, then lower your resource dice one step and your friend can increase his one step"
... is that when you buy rations, arrows and torches, you buy them in resource dice steps (i.e. if you buy two food, then you increase your food resource dice two steps or you can increase yours one step and your friend his food resource dice one step.). Much easier way to handle this I must say and is probably how I will handle this in my game.
