I started (and abandoned) to develop an adventure that involved a descendant of the Dwarf-city of Belegost organizing an attempt to recover the pearl Nimphelos from the vaults of the ruined city. The pearl was a gift from Thingol to the Lord of Belegost as part of the payment for the delving of Menegroth. Before that, Círdan had gifted Nimphelos to Thingol. Part of the adventure would have had the company discover a cave or abandoned Dwarf-mine that had been used as a shelter by King Arvedui of Arthedain and his followers as they fled from the forces of Angmar.
