As mentioned, we are reviewing your feedback and have developed a modified version of the stress and panic response tables. Please see below. Also, the roll is now D6 + stress level – Resolve (not 2D6).

This new table also completely separates stress responses from panic responses, and should overall be more intuitive to use.

Without having tested the new table, I wonder if it might have the opposite effect. The first version resulted in effects that could quickly hinder the characters. Furthermore, players could also fast gain additional stress.
With the new table, however, I almost don't have the option to gain stress. Even in the panic table there are nearly no stress gains. Won't that make the stress spiral too weak? Now you can only gain stress by pushing and in certain situations when the Game Mother deems it appropriate? But can you reduce it through extra successes that you trade in?
That seems almost too "easy" to me.
