I'm a little confused by this and can't see any other post made about assists. Are you saying the base move as written in the rules is incorrect, and an Assist Recovery action should allow a Medium move instead? Because I've been playing with base move and changing it to Medium would really shake up the game (in a good way, tbh).

This is a term from the alpha-rules. It was changed to medium distance move, but apparently not everywhere.<> The assisting model first moves up to its base Move <>

Move & Attack: Move the model horizontally up to its base Move and then attack with it <>
I guess one of the reasons they changed it to medium move is that the term base move could be confusingSprint: Move the model its base Move distance twice.
Thank you for clarifying! So also if someone moves into the firearc you can choose to overwatch fire since it is considered activating inside the firearc?Activating is when he is doing his a chosen action. When it comes to mutations like Stealthy, you can't choose that after someone has declared overwatch fire, you have to use the mutation when you declare what action you do and that enhance the action with the mutation. Only reflex mutations can be used whenever and even out of turn.
FL uses overwatch in many of their RPGs, including Mutant: Year Zero, and this is how it works in those, so I assume that's the idea in this game as well. You interrupt a model, do your overwatch fire, if the interrupted model survived it may continue whatever it was doing.Thank you for clarifying! Yes, when it is drawn early, the game turns into a "the floor is lava" game.1. Does the “Land-shark” card stay on the table until the end of the game or the end of the round? As it’s not specified and the card reads: “Leave this card on the table as a reminder” we let it on the table until the end of the game (it was drawn earlyon the 2nd round, tough one).
Models are the 'up to five' character models that each player has.2. Also, regarding the “Land-shark” , does it attack other monsters, as the “Razorback”? The “Land-shark card states: “every model who moves on the battlefield must roll Survival”. As the “Razorback” is a token and not a model, and it hasn’t a “survival” stat, we assumed it didn’t. Which is?
Forced movement is when your character is forced to move because of an event (like acid grass), an attack (like knockback), or a mutation (like telekinesis).3. If a model engaged with another model activates the “Insect wings” mutation to fly vertically, make an aimed shot and lands on the same spot, does it activate the free melee attack from the other model (engaged)? In the manual (p.8) states that free melee attacks are not triggered if the model movement is “forced by a Zone card or mutation”, it shouldn’t, but the activation of “insect wings” is not forced but voluntarily activated by the player. We assumed it didn’t because the model didn’t move away as it landed in the same spot, but we’re not sure about it.
Krin is the active model. A broken model can still use reflex and enhance mutations/modules and can still be forced to roll for survival if needs be.4. Almost at the end of the game we were in a 1v1 confrontation, with Farrow in overwatch mode, Krin moved and was shot down and left broken on the floor. Next, we draw a zone token. In that case who has to roll “Survival” for the zone card? Krin, who was the last model to activate, or Farrow, who made the overwatch shot? And in the case it is Krin, we understood that a broken model can only choose the “Recovery” action (not a survival roll for a Zone card).
