Re: Vaesen Core Rulebook Official Errata and Clarifications

The major changes are:
  • [...]New init cards are dealt each round.

The PDF version I have (Vaesen_Revised_Core_Rules_2506.pdf, updated October 1st on DriveThruRPG) appears to have reverted to per-combat initiative draws. On page 58:

Each player in the fight draws a random card at the beginning of the fight, and the Gamemaster draws cards for NPCs and vaesen. [...]When all participants have had their turn, the round is over, and a new round begins in the same initiative order. You do not draw new cards during the fight.

Interesting. The Swedish starter set have the "dragonbane" rules for init, the rev pdf used to have the "dragonbane" rules for init (the Swedish rulebook hasn't been updated yet). I wonder what the physical books say :?

My physical print of the new English Starter Set rulebook says "draws a random card at the beginning of each round".

My physical print of the new English Starter Set rulebook says "draws a random card at the beginning of each round".
Tomas said this about this when I asked him about that there are different initiative rules in the starter set and in the core rulebook:
SWE: Yes, det verkar så. Starter sets har ju ofta lite annorlunda regler än det kompletta spelet. Man kan ju välja vilken variant man föredrar.
ENG: Yes, it seems so. Starter sets usually have a little bit other rules that the complete game. You can choose what variant you prefer.
I updated my errata list post with this.

I also updated the list with the changes in various HQ functions.
