There was a great little set of mechanics in Golden Heroes a while back which was Personal Status (that's covered by Resolve), Detective Points (investigation skills) and Public Status.

It matters to superheroes how they're thought of. How they're received, not just personally in their friend group but also in public, by their fans.

I don;t know if the investigation skills are that important. The Demon Detective thinks so.
