We are about to start part 2 of Path of Glory: Gates of Power. Spoliers possible below:



I notice that the main opponent, Mogdath has a 2H sword with Enchant Weapon and Permanence on it.

Because of the way the area works, he will be resurrected at full HP after one shift. He's quite vulnerable to fire and we have an elementalist in the party. 64 HP is not that much (although he does have plate armour).

So, what happens to his sword and armour when he is defeated? Does it disappear to reappear when he rises again? If not, what if the party take it? It's obviously possible as the sword entry says what happens if it is carried by a living bearer. I'm thinking that either 1/ he turns to dust when defeated along with his sword and armour (unless defeated by the dagger) and is recreated after a shift, OR 2/ he can call the sword and armour and it will reappear in his hand/worn (this could be quite fun if the party do take it, as it will disappear when Mogdath rises again).

Similarly, what about the keys he carries? Do they reappear? If the party take them does he reappear with another set of keys, or can he not then get into those areas?

Any thoughts, suggestions?
