Children as NPC/characters

Wed 08 Jan 2025, 02:10

Hey everyone, I have a question that I hope someone can answer.

Is there any information on how to make a child up, as an NPC or character, for Twilight? I thought that I had seen some information on it, but I'm drawing a blank as to where.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Official or homebrew material, any guidance would be appreciated.

There is a kid archetype that you can base the NPC on and there are some kids in the scenarios that you can use as inspiration.

Thanks for the suggestion. I completely forgot about and missed the Kid Archetype.

Out of curiosity if I wanted to develop a child NPC and wanted to use the "Life Path" method, how would you use it?

Especially for younger characters since the life path starts at age 18.

My idea is for a younger kid that the Players encounter either around base (before the fall of Kaliz) or out in the countryside.

I'm not so sure life paths are possible with kids. Technically you could make a character but you stop after childhood (no terms) and then go directly to At War and roll for other.

I had children NPCs in my RPG a decade or more ago.

The kids were in harms way, and some of the real life players didnt like it. Understandable, but also interesting. It almost tore the game apart.
