Lastly we argue during our gameplay how to approach the M.A.R.K. 14 special ability "Grenade launcher".

The card with the ability says that is a range attack. So is that mean M.A.R.K. 14 needs to have line of sight to be able to use this ability or not?

Second related question is what if the targeting model is covered from by the ceiling of the building? Is the grenade possible hit the target?

Grenade Launcher allows the model to move up to close distance and then make 'm-point' ranged attacks with no bonus.

Those ranged attacks are normal ranged attacks (with area effect), so you have to have LoS to the target. The target may have cover that may help him. You don't have to have LoS to secondary targets (those hit by the area effect), only to what you aim for.
