Free League Grid size

Wed 20 Mar 2024, 23:31

I'm trying to figure out what size Free League uses for their grid size. I want to be able to print a hex grid overlay on tracing paper to be used on printed maps taking from google when the location is not on the map provided in the box.

If anyone knows the size, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,
Merc

The hexes are 2cm across. There are templates on their download site here.

Note that because there are no real figures for the game and hexes represent 10m rather than some other mini-friendly distance, any size hexes you use will work fine.

If you do want to coopt 1:100/15mm scale Team Yankee minis or similar, 4 inch hexes work well without restating game stats.

Why are the templates so low-res though? 300 something kilobytes???

Because they are only the grid, there is no other info in the simple repeating code.
