I bought the game and have been wondering if there are errors with the factions. Bormin, Dux and the gang are from the Ark so surely they should be the Ark Mutants, yet they are labelled as Genlab Tribe on the top right of their cards. The reverse is the same for Naphta & the rest. I was confused at first because I was assigning Dux the yellow 'Ark mutant' token but getting confused because he has a base coat of paint that is green and the same with the rest of the mutants. Am I wrong or right in this? The marking at the top of the card is more frustrating if it's wrong.

The four factions are:

• Genlab Alpha: Dux, Farrow, Bormin, Moose and Ruben.

• Ark Mutants: Naphta, Danko, Franton, Krin and Hugust.

• Mechatron Hive: Bender, Mecha King, M.A.R.K.14, Wrecker and Scrappy.

• Nova Sect. Plutonia, Psion, Tula, Maxim and Psycho.

This game and its factions are based on the TRPG Mutant: Year Zero. There is a computer game 'Mutant Year Zero - Road to Eden' (good actually) that also is based on the TRPG, but they changed the backstory a bit because they wanted to have animal mutants in their game but they didn't want to add a whole other faction because of it, hence that the Ark in the computer game have animal mutants. They changed a lot of things actually to fit the story into an x-com style computer game.
