So, is there going to be an aspect of ship or base building to this game? Me and my players really enjoy this aspect of other FL games, as a lite side game to our regular game. We like the rules in the Third Horizon for customizing ones ship and the base building of the Forbidden Lands. I would love to see something new and quite fleshed out for building and managing a home base or ship in these rules as well.

From what I heard in the interviews, the great ship wouldn't be like an ark or a base that you build up. The outlet for your group endeavour would be to "improve your bird", although with its 3-4 hitpoints, you may have to do that repeatedly.
