My friends and I have played through Case File #1 and really enjoyed it! While we wait for the physical edition of Case File #2 to come out, we are working on putting together our own to bridge the gap. However, while going over some of the rules, we stumbled upon a question that we cannot find an answer to. What is the cost of learning new specialties? The official rulebook mentions that learning new specialties costs Promotion Points, but as far as we can tell, it does not specify the actual cost of learning a new one. Would anyone happen to know the answer to this question? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can learn a new specialty of your choice by spending a Shift at the LAPD Training Grounds. This costs 5 Promotion Points.
