Elida in The Witch Hammer

Sun 08 Oct 2023, 10:05

Dear fellow GMs,
I am currently playing The Witch Hammer with my group. Soon they will be able to visit the three locations of act II. One of the locations is New Earthmoor where they hope to find Elida. It is still open, if this will be their first visit or if they choose this location to be their second or third. I wonder why should little Elida still be alive after giving information to one of the other groups. Why should at least some of the more evil or selfish inclined groups not kill her to prevent others from gaining the information she can give? If you consider what happened to Amegor and Mankel on Karvosti this would make sense. Any ideas or insights on this?

I would play into Elidas gift, she can remove/reduce any destructive/violent tendencies and feelings. With this gift and the fact that she's literally insane she should be able to handle any attacker. Maybe place some corpses in her room that show no signs of fighting back.
