Markdown Version of SRD

Sun 26 Feb 2023, 04:14

Can I assume there will be a Markdown version of the SRD once it is officially released? It would be a HUGE time saver!

THX ... looks great thus far!

Not for me. It takes forever to take out the odd hard breaks.

I'd rather have a word doc. I can use headers and outline view to create a linked index. I also use Scrivener to chop up a document, which is even more of a time save.

If you meant my version, sorry about the hard breaks. I have a habit of putting two spaces after a period *and* doing manual word wrap. I'll be careful next time.

... if there is a next time. I just want to make sure doing so would be legal.

P.S. I recently learned how to power-use Word (sort of), but I don't really love it. RPG rules are mostly text with some emphasis, nested title structure, and a few odd tables ... which is essentially what HTML and Markdown are.

HILDA: This isn't much of a pep talk. Can't you say, 'you can do it!'
ALFUR: Sure! You can do it! (Statement for encouragement purposes only. You may not actually be able to do it.)

I'm just curious if there is going to be a release of anything but the pdf version. PDF is worthless as an SRD.

I've converted to Markdown, DOCX, RTF, and HTML. See share below:
