Re: MORIA news

I've always imagined Moria for TOR needing some kind of underground journey rules. It wouldn't be TOR (or really any RPG I've wanted to play since 1990) that actually tried to map out all of Moria; most of it has to be abstract. But it also needs to somehow convey the sense of awesome vastness, and constant fear.

When were the first whispers of Moria, when it was still a C7 project? I feel like I've been waiting through two (US) presidential administrations.
.
Decipher had an interesting system involving movable map tiles.

The earliest reference I'm finding to C7's development of Moria is from November 2017: https://icv2.com/articles/news/view/390 ... -pit-moria

Apparently there is a delay ...
Kickstarter delay! The Kickstarter for Moria™ – Through the Doors of Durin, the Moria expansion for The One Ring™ and The Lord of the Rings™ Roleplaying, will not go live at 3pm CEST today as planned, as we have an unexpected last-minute delay. We hope to have it resolved quickly and we will announce a new launch time as soon as we can.

I don't suppose the magic word is "Mellon".

Any clue about the length of the delay?

No idea.

EDIT: The delay might have been due to site maintenance at Kickstarter.

Nice! I like the artwork a lot. The man with the torch and the hobbit, and especially the balrog! Cool interpretation of what a balrog might look like.
