This one is going to be a bit longer, but i have to get this out.
I just got an answer per mail from Gerard.
Only it was not an answer to the mail i sent yesterday, but an answer to a mail that i sent two weeks ago that is no longer relevant. I always use the same mail adress and also put the order number in the subject line. I recommend using filters and sorting by most recent date, this way you could have resolved my issue instead of sending a pointless mail.
It's now the fifth iteration of interaction with a heavily overwhelmed support team that i have to proactively pursue to get what i payed for.
My impression from all this, is that if I would not have actively informed myself about the status of the kickstarter, the location of my packages, etc. i would never have gotten anything and my money would be gone (again, my impression, not an accusation).
It's fine correcting the course once or twice, really. I do consider myself to be a patient and understanding person. Everyone makes mistakes and there are things in life that are more important. I get that. I am not raging, i am not screaming, but i am just so so dissapointed and frustrated.
I don't know if you see it like that, but from my point of few, you are not selling books or pdfs, but an experience. And in theory, the experience from playing the game should be completely independet from the experience i have with your logistics. In theory. In reality, i must say, i can't see myself having fun with forbidden lands in the near future. The built up frustration is to overwhelming. You know, of course i don't have it on my mind all the time, but it's now been six weeks since i first reached out to you because i did not get a shipping note when you stated on KS that you considered EU fullfillment done. And constant setbacks since then. It's not even completely resolved yet. The attention and time this draws is ridiculous.
What i got is an incomplete bundle, damaged books, no pdfs and absolutely no desire to play FL at all.
I hope this message reaches you, because i think you need to read this.
By the workload your support team has to put up with, i can only assume that i am not alone and there are many dissapointed customers.
Please Free League, take care of your logistics. It is dragging down the quality of your product that i think is crafted with much passion and skill.
Kind regards and all the best,
Bernhard
