All in all, an excellent product based on a read through.
A little advice on expected experience/difficulty might help some loremasters. This was a feature of 1e - even a line or two in the introduction or on the back cover would help loremasters. After all, some of the most frequent questions we get are about encounter balancing:
"The adventures are presented in order of increasing difficulty: while the first four adventures can be tackled by a group of relatively inexperienced adventurers, the following ones offer a greater challenge." from Tales from Wilderland
or
"The adventures are presented in order of increasing difficulty: while the first five adventures can be tackled by a group of relatively inexperienced adventurers, the final adventure offers a much greater challenge. None are recommended for completely novice heroes – it is recommend that a group have played through at least a few adventures first, such as those from Tales from Wilderland or even The Darkening of Mirkwood." - Ruins of the North
P21 - Nelly Long arms. Should she have Hideous Toughness & Dull-witted like a normal troll. Not having Hideous Toughness makes things easier for the players (whew), and I can see a case for her not having Hideous Toughness?
P38 - Wood Wight claws are missing their combat proficiency, presumably 3
P46 - should be Insight instead of Scan? It is for reading a person, it matches the Insight skill description much better.
P48: should be Awareness instead of scan? To spot a flash of flame in the distance fits a Lookout's skill set better (which uses awareness). Scan is for close range according to the rulebook.
P52 - fireworks ability is pretty powerful, may well merit a rework. It is a lot of damage with no parry check and almost certain to set PCs on fire for more damage.
P68- Should be Awareness instead of scan? Spotting a candle at night is a long range thing that doesn't fit Scan's description in the rulebook.
P76 - long centuries instead of lone?
P82-p84 - inconsistency in reward per prisoner rescued. 10 per prisoner on p82, 5 per prisoner on p84 following the council. Potentially deliberate, but seems odd so worth checking.
P89 - “Other Dwarves armed with great shields guard the sappers” - dwarves can’t use great shields. Naturally this segment doesn’t mean great shields in a mechanical sense, but substituting a different adjective (“stout”) might result in a better fit between narrative and mechanics.
The Pdf link to Kings of Little Kingdom: links to the wrong pages (the link when clicking the red text in the PDF itself is correct, but the bookmarks menu in Acrobat reader points to the wrong pages)
Chapters 4&5 don’t have hyperlinks within the contents page, unlike the other chapters. Same goes for the sub-components of chapters 4&5 - no hyperlinks.
