TYPO (AUTOCORRECT ERROR?)

Page 49 book text (page 53 pdf file) RUMOUR line 3 has what's instead of that's

It’s dangerous to leave the Road. You might fall into some long abandoned cellar or sunken path, and break a leg, and then where
are you? Lost and alone and meat for Trolls, what’s where! Don’t leave the path

Replace "what's" with " that's " to read

It’s dangerous to leave the Road. You might fall into some long abandoned cellar or sunken path, and break a leg, and then where
are you? Lost and alone and meat for Trolls, that’s where! Don’t leave the path

TYPO (minor)

Page 68 of the book text, (72 of pdf file) has a capital A when it should be lower case.

near the bottom the paragraph FINDING THE LETTER reads

"If the Company is looking for the Ranger spy, A SCAN roll is
required..."

because there is a comma after 'Ranger spy, ' the next letter should be a lower case 'a' to read

"If the Company is looking for the Ranger spy, a SCAN roll is
required..."

POSSIBLE TYPO (MINOR)

Page 79 of the book text, (83 of pdf file) has

"The iron gates of Rath
Sereg clang shut, like the tolling of some dreadful bell. There
can be no hope for them unless hope comes from outside."

I am not sure if the second use of the word "hope" was meant to be "HELP"? So it would then read

"The iron gates of Rath
Sereg clang shut, like the tolling of some dreadful bell. There
can be no hope for them unless help comes from outside."

2 TYPOS

p. 27 of the book, 4th line of Part 1, Lond Daer is written Lord Daer

P. 95, in the table "Northern Waste events Table", line 8 "Chance meeting", there is a page reference noted "page XX" that should be "page 97"

TYPO (MINOR)

Page 82 of the book text, (86 of pdf file) has "to" instead of "too", i.e.

Vilia raises her hand for silence.
“There is more to this tale,” she says, “and that must be told to,
before Floki’s plea may be justly heard.

this should read

Vilia raises her hand for silence.
There is more to this tale,” she says, “and that must be told too,
before Floki’s plea may be justly heard.

Possible TYPO or INCONSISTENCY?

page 109 book text (page 113 in pdf record ) STATS block for Hill-Wights

Generally all other Adversaries have equal Attribute level and Hate points. So a Hill Wight should have either Attribute 6 or Hate 5

Edit: Looking at Harlath's post below, the STATS for Houseless Wraiths of page 38 book text, may also be a Typo / Inconsistency. The Houseless Wraiths would work the same with Attribute 4 to match their Hate 4.

This is fairly consistent and may indeed be an error, but it isn't an iron rule - see p38 of Tales from the Lone Lands. The Unhoused Wraiths work well as a moderate hate but low endurance foe, for example.

Page 40 - New Fellowship Undertakings: Great to see more of these introduced, but a bit more clarification would be nice.

Are they normal or Yule Undertakings? "Journey to the Stone of the Hapless" feels more like a personal Undertaking that more than one Player-Hero could choose, normally only allowed at Yule, (plus it involves quite a lot of travel). But it seems like the wrong time of year to be sailing off to such a remote location. The "Hunt with the Lossoth" Undertaking seems more obviously to be a normal Undertaking.

Also, Fellowship Undertakings take place in the Fellowship Phase and the company decides the location, which is usually a Safe Haven. It would be useful if the new Undertakings included suggestions for suitable Safe Havens where they could be chosen.

This leads to a query about the effect of the second Undertaking, "Hunt with the Lossoth" - it grants a new Safe Haven for the duration of the next Adventure Phase, but mechanically, Safe Havens are only really used during Fellowship Phases. You could interpret the effect as being able to choose the location for your next Fellowship Phase, but the main benefit of doing this would appear to be because it's the best location to choose the "Hunt with the Lossoth" Undertaking again!
Blistering barnacles!

I would really like to get player versions of the maps in the book. Does Free League typically make the non-labelled player maps available as a separate download?

EDIT: I see some map packs available on DriveThruRPG, for other games. I hope these are coming.

Númenór (once - p.27), Númenor, Numenor (once - also p.27)

3 different versions are used — Númenor is correct.
