Interrogator

What the Interrogator specialty intended to do exactly? The circumstances where it gives an advantage are already listed as naturally giving advantage to everyone on the page opposite under Negotiating Position?

Lets assume that you interrogate a person that is in custody that has nothing to gain to help you:
+ Your opponent is in custody by you.
+ Interrogator specialty
- Your opponent has nothing to gain by helping you.

One + and one - will cancel each other out, so thanks to your interrogator specialty, you will still have an advantage when interrogating this person.

It is true that the specialty doesn't help you if it was already easy to interrogate in the first place, like if there was no disadvantage to the roll.

Ah I see. So it really gives a double advantage for the same thing everyone gets a single advantage for? It feels pretty narrow but at least it does something!

Perhaps the way to look at it is that it will make sure you get advantage much more often as many interrogations will be in the "nothing to gain" category. In a game about invetsigations that's really useful.
