Location of Harmelt

Mon 21 Nov 2022, 13:27

Hello!

I am wondering about the exact location of Harmelt. It seems it is not on the map of Ruins of the Lost Realm. Is it the southernmost tip of Blue Mountains (Harlindon side) or somewhere more north?

I think it might be deliberately non-specific to give the Loremaster options. That said, near the southern end of the range seems to be the most literal interpretation.

I placed my own Dwarf-city of Hargrod where the eastern spur of the (Southern) Blue Mountains begins. The active Dwarf-mines from TOR 1E were around 40 or 50 miles north of the spur.

The description is fairly clear: “ The Halls of Harmelt lie at the southern end of the mountain range, atop a hill called the Stone of Fire”. I would put it in the hex below the last of the mountain hexes, which contains a single hill.
