Multistoried Buildings

Multistoried buildings or how to handle the third D in 3D.

So far the combat maps are by nature 2D. However terrain and in particular urban terrain tends to be 3D. Has any thought be given on how to handle combat involving multistory builds or other raised areas?

Downward fire probably should use the lower of vertical or horizontal range; upward should probably just add the two as a simplicity. But it really does need to be addressed.

Seems simple to me. There's already a +1 for firing at a lower elevation. Just needs a simple rule like "You can only see lower levels from the edge of a current level, like the lip of a roof. If you are prone, lower levels do not have line-of-sight to you unless you're aiming/firing at them." And then you'd get cover armor for the walls, of course.
