I haven't got any of my own to share, but two of the tips I've found on these forums are below. Both create really interesting content a bit different from your normal "rpg maps" which are usually battle maps for use with DnD.

If you look at "Äventyrsplatser" ("Adventure sites") and "Kartor" ("Maps") you'll probably find some maps that may be of use to you even if the writing is in swedish.
Edit:
If you want to make battle- or world maps the softwares Wonderdraft and Dungeondraft are excellent. They cost 20-30 USD as a one time cost though.
