I quite like the idea that at L3 you roll for crit twice, choose which one you want and can then reverse the roll using L2

We have removed lucky and exekutioner 3. Because They are kind of too strong and they remove the randomness of a serious injury.

All my players have lucky 2 and that is quite enough for the vast majority of cases

No it doesn't. It just has to add to it. If you then allow the player to move the result 1 step up or down the table from where ever it lands you give the player a choice of 3 different results.

No it doesn't. It just has to add to it. If you then allow the player to move the result 1 step up or down the table from where ever it lands you give the player a choice of 3 different results.
That's great. No disagreements there. I'm just saying that the commenter simply repeated what L2 was. There needs to be an iteration, whatever it is.
