I like that they are simplifying it somewhat as 2nd ed was a little number crunchy and well 3rd was crazy.
BUT the character building system of all those editions is a must. Choose your life paths etc. Hope it is kept!

Recently re-bought the first edition on Drivethru. Love playing it again. Really looking forward to this adaption.

I loved this game in the eighties. Played it all through my time in the army in the nineties . Played the second edition and the third. I still have all the books and will pick up new ones when I can. So here I am almost fifty and super excited about this. I want the metal box set they hinted at.

I think mine is slightly better... but I can't check, as it's right about 1580 miles away...

My 2E books are in very good condition - didn't see much use.

Ah, thanks. I am 284 (I also thought I was fast).

I've not played any of the previous editions, but I am a fan of modern combat/RPGs just not found many that handled the rules well. From experience of Fria Ligan, I know this is going to be a top quality game.

I've backed, #3127. Not going for the metal box; I can't justify the extra US $35 or so.

KS made it bloody hard to find the backer number.
Click on avatar, click on activity. On resulting page, there are 4 options in the header: Activity, Backed projects, Settings, Profile. Click on backed projects.
Click the white on blue plus.
