I 3D printed these, because I always thought the look of black with orange numbers would make good "enemy" dice. I would love to see an official color scheme that was similar.

I love the black/orange combo. It reminds me of the dice from Hunt for the Ring, which I think is also a good color scheme for "evil" dice:

I had every intention of eventually painting a set for each culture. Rohan: Green with Gold, Gondor: Dark blue with silver, etc. Alas, I never got around to it and in fact I think I gave away all the black dice I had painted and still need to make a new set for myself. In reality, I seldom play in person and all my gaming has been online so I don't need physical dice all that much.

Real gamers hunt wild boar, carve dice from the bones, and paint them.

Amirite?

Since we're talking about this, I have a question. Would you prefer to see:

1) A new, re-designed set of TOR dice (same use, different 'graphics')?

OR

2) The same set of TOR dice, but in different colours

OR

3) The very same, bone-coloured TOR dice, as in first edition?

Francesco
I have two original bone dice set plus the green, blue, red sets and the Q-workshop set. I must say bone dice is the best and most easy to read one.

I also have all the Games Workshop's Middle Earth dice sets and I think for your first option, something like this could also work for TOR2E:

And this really works great for monsters:

I've decided I want dice forged out of many-layer pattern-welded steel (a.k.a. "damascus"), with etched numbers/symbols.

Possible... Expensive... But possible :)

It's always nice to have dice with their own damage ratings, but I still favor appearance and readability over lethality.

Especially the d4. Sharpen that bad boy to a razor edge.
