Hey everyone! After falling in love wit the Alien RPG, I decided to run Coriolis session… the first time since 2001. I work in the video game industry and write professionally so it was somewhat not too hard to write a scenario and master a session. Of course, it was a tad too long and it was surely too linear (but I had first-time players).
I find the world and the system extremely easy to understand and use. The lore feels fresh and mysterious, you can easily go from a very scientific / realistic setting to a weird and violent one in like 2 hours.
If you're reading this and hesitating; you should try it. It's fun and quite energetic.
Apart from my mistakes, I would recommend to have a varied team—the group concept is good for a campaign I guess, but if you want just a quick scenario, you end up with 2-3 characters who are too similar.
