A really great book, bound in linen, embossed and like the deluxe edition of the Vaesen RPG with an inlaid drawing. Feels alright good.
In terms of content, I recognize one or two paragraphs from the roleplaying game, but there is much more talk about it - due to the space. But the whole thing offers additional ideas for adventure. Sometimes even very interesting and funny things, like the ash tree wife is also called Dryad, that it's better not to pee in elf rings
A little bit irritating: In the English book the "Thursday's Child" have the sight , in the translation they are "Sunday's Children".
There are also a few more creatures in there, like..:
- Mine Guardian (The creature on p. 162 in GRW)
- Mara (comes later?)
- Milk hare (page 13)
- Spirit of the Ship
- Hell sow
The translation is very good to read, only the handwritten notes are - as in the role-playing book - sometimes difficult to decipher.
I would be really happy if the Vaesen Roleplay would be translated by Uhrwerk (German publisher of all other YZ games).
