Dog Handler Fighting

Thu 26 Oct 2017, 15:04

Hi,
me and my group are new to MY0 and I want to play a Dog Handler, but there is one thing we are not sure off in the rules. It says on page 60 "To Sic a Dog on your enemy counts as an action", does that mean that I have to use an action only the first time I let the Dog attack the enemy or do I have to use an action every time my dog attacks that enemy. To clear things up here an example:
I am in a fight and it is my turn, I send my Dog on an enemy, throw my dice and so on, I used my action and can only make a maneuver. The enemy get's some damage but is still alive.
Next round, it is my turn again, do I have to use my action again to use my dog to attack the same enemy I let him attack last round? Or does my Dog keep attacking until the enemy is dead and I can use my action to attack too?
I hope someone can clear this up for me.
Regards,
Jonas

You only have to spend an action to command the dog once. After that, the dog will continue to attack the target until you call him back to you. To call your dog back to you is a maneuver. This is explained better in the latest Swedish version.

Oh wow, I did not know that. That's a game changer and should be clarified in an errata.
