Weapon Systems

Wed 29 Mar 2017, 22:44

Hiya guys,
On page 127 in the midst of all the ranged weapons I see that a standard missile launcher is featured with being heavy, single-shot and anti-vehicle. I take this be a simiple 'over the shoulder' style of launcher. The next category down is titled Weapon Systems and includes a missile system with a few different missile types, but it's features are only anti-vehicle and optional anti-armor. Should it also be tagged with heavy and perhaps also bulky? I'm ok with advances in tech enabling the ability to house multiple shots in a clip or magazine style, but it doesn't seem right that it would also be smaller and easier to handle than a single shot variant of the same weapon. Just wondering other's thoughts :)
Thanks

I'd assumed, weapons systems were vehicle mounted, thus heavier and bulkier than mere heavy weapons. I might be wrong though.

Yup that's quite possible and I missed it and might just run with it that way. The thermal projector has the feature of bulky though, and that's what has thrown me off. Maybe I'll just variant it as vehicle mounted with accessories required (bulky, heavy) if you want to pull it off the mount and bring it inside heh
Thanks

Hi!

The1TrueFredrix is right, weapon systems are mounted, not carried. The "Bulky" feature of the thermal projector is superfluous, so just ignore that. Sorry for the unclarity. :)
