New Products in Stores Soon??

Thu 11 Sep 2025, 22:05

I’m excited for all three of Free League’s upcoming Vaesen supplements:
Mythic Carpathia
City of my Nightmares
Vaesen Starter Set
Will these products be available to purchase in stores or online soon? Is there an estimated publication date for these books? I must have them.

I backed these on the Kickstarter and got my address confirmation e-mail from GamesQuest yesterday, suggesting they'll be starting shipping them next week here in the UK. I'm sure the retail release won't be too much longer after all the backers have received theirs.

That’s cool. Thanks for your response. Hopefully available by Xmas. Congrats on having the foresight to contribute early to these projects. I’ll be sure to jump on it sooner next time! :D

Not so much foresight as me having backed something of theirs WAY back and now they spam me with mails about new stuff whenever it comes up for backing or preorder, and I generally end up doing that because their stuff is so good. Invincible was today's "get ready to back this one..." :D

You'll love Mythic Carpathia...its worth the wait

Hi Darryll,

did you find City of my Nightmares in the meantime? I am still missing it in Free Leagues official web shop. Did it every pop up there?

I asked Tomas about City of my Nightmares and he said that it will hit retail in April.

As of yesterday, I have purchased all three of these new products. City of my Nightmares being the most recent addition to my collection (edit: which I just learned won a gold medal Ennie for best long form campaign!)
I love all the ways that Free League is expanding Vaesen and I adore the support materials provided by the Starter Set.
So far, I am especially intrigued by A Treaty of Blood in Mythic Carpathia despite the fact that I found chapters one and two of that book quite dry and lacking that gothic atmosphere. I was relieved to find the dread I was looking for in the adventure chapters.
I’m looking forward to delving into the Stockholm book. The print quality looks especially bright and crisp. A joy to behold.
If anyone would care to add their thoughts to the above I promise to reciprocate by continuing the conversation.
