Saboteur

Saboteur Talents

Bomb Maker: Bombs are commonplace for a Saboteur, so you are knowledgeable in different kinds of bombs using different parts and ingredients. A Saboteur can make a Heavy Machinery roll to construct a bomb using parts and chemicals on hand. The GM can allow a bomb to be made if the player has a reasonable number of parts and ingredients for it. The player can also introduce outside information (such as types of bombs) as their character with this talent would reasonably be knowledgeable about them. The player can take a +1 Modification in making their bombs. When a roll is done for the bomb, additional successes on the roll can be put towards increasing the Blast Power of the bomb or the precision of the bomb.

Black Hat: No matter how much money companies, governments, or people put into security systems, there’s always a way to break through them. Once per Act or Session, the Saboteur can take a +3 Modification on a Comtech roll to hack into a security or computer system (on top of any Modification added by the GM).

Notorious: With the brutal acts you’ve committed in your life, it has marked your nature, and everyone can sense that. All Manipulation rolls made to intimidate someone can take a +2 Modification (on top of any Modification added by the GM).



Technician

People like you are in high demand in the galaxy. As someone who can handle machines and computers systems, you can work anywhere. You might not be a master of any one skill, but being a jack-of-all-trades is often considered better.

Technician Talents

Jack-Of-Trades: To keep up with the demands of those around you, you had to be minimally knowledgeable about everything. Once per Act or Session, the Technician can take a +2 Modification (on top of any Modification added by the GM) to any skill roll.

Jury-Rigging: Out in the frontier, you are limited in your equipment and supplies to aid in your maintenance and repair work. You’re able to use whatever is on hand to help do repairs. Technicians can use certain parts or supplies to add a +3 Modification to any repairs done using the Heavy Machinery skill (on top of any Modification added by the GM).

White Hat: Your job is to protect computer systems and find any holes that hackers can use to get through their security systems. With your knowledge of counter-hacking techniques, you can go toe-to-toe with many of the galaxy’s worst hackers. By taking one Stress Level, a Technician can add a +3 Modification on Comtech rolls in any attempt to fix security systems or to counter-hack an enemy (on top of any Modification added by the GM).
