Blocking: with or without weapon bonus?

In the rules, it only says that to block you "roll for close combat". But does this include the weapon bonus (when holding a close combat weapon) or does it not? I could make an argument for either.
Would love to hear your thoughts

When you use a weapon to block or attack, you always add the weapon bonus in the skill roll.

Also, in order to block another weapon you need a weapon. Unarmed blocks only blocks unarmed attacks (not alien attacks though).

Honestly that is a bit of a streatch to use a weapon bonus while blocking, since some blocks just get ridiculous. Also on the topic of blocking, can a player push a block? I am just in the middle of campaign session and an android rolled 17 dice blocking. I know that in a campaign over the long game PC's get stupid strong/OP. And giving them additional bonuses to blocking and able to pushing those is just insane. In our campaign, players who I play with are just OP, they are like super solders, where nobody ever gets broken. My character is the weakest of a bunch, a engineer who didn't confirm a kill. But I guess that is somthing a GM must decide in the end. :/

17 dice blocking, wow. They warned to have androids in the campaign for a reason. I guess this android is a very physically oriented. The blocking is good against humans (androids are not normally allowed to attack humans btw).

In my opinion, I don't like playing androids since they can't push their rolls.

Yeah I know Androids can't block and attack humans. The block was against a deacon xenomorph, that should have been a final "boss" battle. The player who controled this android had a costume made Chinese Long sword for his Android that had insane stats, also what was even more ridiculous was the combination of talens Bodyguard + Resilience. This combo is just bunkers OP. XD Yeah the Android was a roughneck/pleasure model lol.
