Not sure if these guys still have stock: https://shop.prodosgames.com/8-alien-vs-predator

Imperial Guard...sorry, Astra Militarum from Games Workshop have some cheap marines types, obviously the weapons are not exact as it's a different franchise: https://bit.ly/2NOCzJ7
(That said if you've got a pair of clippers or a hobby knife if you snip off the barrels of their weapons you basically have a pulse rifle)

And they have Tyranids which are HEAVILY inspired by HR Gigers work: https://bit.ly/2JXJQVQ

Mantic have some models that would be good for a Weyland Yutani Commando purge team or similar: https://www.manticgames.com/games/warpath/page/2/

All the Games Workshop stuff is 28mm scale thereabouts, not sure about the Prodos stuff.

A bit expensive to use only the miniatures, but the Nemesis boardgame has some nice models in it (the whole game is an unlicensed Alien boardgame to be honest :-D):

Scroll down a bit for the contents of the core box. I think it is already in retail. And the boardgame itself is excellent!

I'll echo this, worth it for the game alone and the miniatures are indeed amazing. Though I will point out they are rather big as well. Which is why in the game you only get 8.

Echoing this as well, found out about Nemesis just recently and managed to score a core box in retail that I received last week! Amazing components, good models and just seems like an overall brilliant and joyful game!

The minis are just perfect for Alien of course, as they should be in a game that is pretty much Alien the board game without the branding :)

Prodos Games - unless given special dispensation by the IP holder - is done with the AvP line. So any of those minis will only be secondary market.

The GaleForce 9 ALiens game is due out soon with nice miniatures of USCM and Aliens. If it does well I would expect them to produce expansion packs.

GZG (Ground Zero Games) makes an extensive line of 25mm and 15mm figures that can be used for frontier militia, corps, starship crews, etc. They also produce a line of spaceships if you are interested in that.

For other secondary market items is the Horroclix Aliens line, Leading Edge and the Prodos stuff.

The Albedo Combat Patrol line of 28mm has suitable tech vehicles. The people won't be good, because they're all anthropomorphic animals. (well, unless you are skilled enough to do head swaps).

I'll second the recommend on GZG's lines - while I don't own any, a former roomie did, and they were nicely done.

Firstly: first post, so Hello!
The GZG figures are nice, but not especially 'alien-y' (I used some for a Traveller:2300 game more years ago than I care to remember: they seem to fit that universe very well). Beware also that they are 25mm, not the current wargames standard of 28mm or the 'heroic' 32mm scale that is becoming more common nowadays, so they may look small against other ranges.
Consider taking a look at the Gripping Beast (Woodbine design Company) Sci-Fi range for figures clearly inspired by Aliens, and the Sci-fi rages of Hasselfree miniatures.

Yes GZG are true 25mm but its not a huge stretch.

The one thing they do have are many different lines based on factions. SO if one wanted say UPP looking troops they have several Russian lines to choose from. And their startship crews are generic enough to work anywhere.

Gripping is ok but they are simply resellers of others products. Not a fan as I had problems with them that were never resolved to my satisfaction.
