Only mildly disappointed at the lack of Predators, but that is both understandable and totally acceptable.
Stress mechanics sounds like a bit like what's in Mothership (I've had only a quick glance at it).
But it is possible, as you see here. And if it´s not possible to play as androids, it´s not really a complete ALIEN setting to me.
OK, fine. But the question is still: HOW should this be done? I mentioned a few ideas above and in another post in the Setting section. But it is possible, as you see here. And if it´s not possible to play as androids, it´s not really a complete ALIEN setting to me.
I'm sure all will be revealed when the game is released.OK, fine. But the question is still: HOW should this be done? I've not played the MYZ-engine, but the hope I had was that Alien didn't use meta-currency. I'm not a fan of those types of mechanics, and it appears they're not present based on one of the podcast interviews. What is your hopes for the MYZ-engine in Alien RPG ? What features should be added and what could the currency (Coriolis darkness points or MYZ mutation points) be used to activate?
Oooo. This wrapped gift is shaped like an American football... wonder what it could—aiiiiiiiiiiiii ghk!Just three more days till christmas!!!
Deep_Impact, thank you for posting the link to the interview with Thomas Härenstam. After listening to it, I cannot conclude that players can not play as Xenomorphs. Firstly, Thomas was hesitant to answer the question about Player-controlled Xenormorphs. Secondly, Thomas said that while the default mode is that players would not play as Xenomorphs, he also said there are variants on that default.Just heard the Mud & Blood Interview (first 50 minutes)
