Oh wow! Very fun idea here! I'm currently running 4 to 5 PCs as a beta-test solo group for the game. Hoping to get my friends to buy in... I'd like to have a good grasp of the mechanics when that day comes.
I'm playing a loose version of Raven's purge. The lessons I've learned so far-
1. I really let the random encounter tables shape the scene. (I love all of these tables and they leave things up to chance).
2. I've enjoyed leaning into the hex crawl aspect of the game. The PCs are exploring this new world, and it's very random as to what they come across.
3. I haven't jumped too deep into the full on story mode of RP, but have slowly introduced items, NPCs, and locations. (Mainly to see how things feel, mechanically play, or present).
I'd love to hear how this goes! (Or went if you've completed it... Then, you can give me some pointers!)
