Also, just because someones heritage means they come from a racial group that tends to do a lot with horses doesn't mean that the person themselves have any exposure to horses. I would always shy away from skill bonuses as a racial feature that isn't a way to represent a biological function.

I just started playing an Aslene hunter (I play in one game, and GM another), and whilst trying to think up a name I was struck by the thought that Aslene sound a lot like North American Indians. So, at least in my Forbidden Lands, Aslene will have names inspired by the First Nation peoples - Running Bear, Wild Stalion, Stands With a Fist etc.
