Good question. The GM's Guide divide a year into 8 phases, each with 45-46 days. Although the phases are not called months, but technically they are and this is the way I will use them (unless FL comes with a better answer).
I made a calendar and in that I use the 8 phases as months (5 of them got 46 days so a year will have 365 days).

Situation:
I and the enemy in the neighboring areas.
I can immediately reach down to him on arm length, or only at Near?
And if we are in the same zone but at its different ends?

P.S. Do the developers answer the questions on the rules only in Swedish?

If you and an enemy are in two neighbouring zones, the range between you is Short. If you use a Run action to move yourself into this neighbouring zone where your enemy is, the range between you is now Near. If you use another Run action, you can move into Arm's Length distance from your enemy. If you later want to move away from your enemy (from Arm's Length distance), you have to use the Retreat action to move away form him. Then you are back to being Near him again and another Run action can move you to a neighbouring zone (Short from the enemy again). If you are two to four zones away from an enemy you are at Long range from him.
The various FL people are a strange breed. They can go into hide away for a very long time just to show up all of a sudden and answer all sorts of questions and then go back to whatever cave they where hiding in. ... or for short, yes the answer questions, both in English and Swedish every now and then.

Just to keep all the berserker questions in one thread...

I assume that the berserker takes a critical injury when they are first broken, and then a second one should they be broken again. Correct?

If a normal character takes a critical injury, rest, and then takes another critical injury, he will have two critical injuries. A berserker just skip the rest part.
So, it is very dangerous to berserk. Just so people know

The rulebook states "you get a Willpower Point (WP) in addition to any damage you suffer" and you have not suffer any damage, the horse did (so technically the horse should earn the WP )

Being broken means that "you are put out of action in one way or another". For Empathy, the easiest way to handle that is "withdraw from everyone around you". If you go the other way (explode in a violent outburst ...), that is best handled by the GM (p.107).

For inspiration, think of Hudson in Aliens "Game Over, Man"
