Orc and Goblin skin tones

Sat 08 Sep 2018, 13:05

In traditional rpg backgrounds Orcs and Goblins are generally green skinned but this isn't mentioned in FbL at all, the only reference being that female Orcs can pass as humans, so I am assuming that these kin have the same range of skin tones as humans and halflings (with dwarfs mainly being pale and elves being whatever they want to be).

Is this right or have I missed something?

I didn't see anything in the book, but I imagined them to be similar to the range of humans, with some more earthy shades also thrown in (reds and greens).

From the illustrations in the books it's clear to me that all characters have paperwhite skin with charcoal black outlines.

No, but seriously. I've got basically the same impression as 9littlebees. A bit like the orcs in The Lord of the Rings methinks.
