What interests me most is the survival aspect of the game. Are there rules for being hungry/thirsty? Can you get lost or suffer injuries during storms? Can you get sick?

Have gotten them yesterday in english. Most things sound so cool, i am perfectly sur that i will play forbidden lands in autumn. Can´t wait.
I like the old school style so much. It looks like my first roleplaygame back in the eighties, das schwarze Auge (englisch the black eye).

Order of the content in chapter 2
I really think that it would be better to sort the content in another order. First Attributes, Skills, Talents, Age, etc., and then the Profession. As I read first the Profession I didn’t know what to think about Pride and Dark Secrets.

THE GROUP
You roll only for the adventurer with the highest reputation score – but what is with the KIN modifier? For example: the highest score is 5 for a human. And now the group is in a wolfkin settlement. But there is a wolfkin in the group with a score of 4. Will this score be used? Will the group always use the more favorable score?

This is how I read it, and it both interested me and concerned me. A 1 in 12 chance of a single roll related to your pride being able to get four successes, and 50/50 chance to get a success seems at odds with the normal 6 only for successes with the rest of the game. I know that Pride can be lost for an entire session, but if you push that roll, the chances of you not getting a success are low. That d12 seems really powerful. For a legendary artifact I'm all about it being that powerful, but for something that any hero can apply to anything once per game as long as they link it back to their pride seems a bit too powerful. I'm on the fence. The once per session limitation makes it so people will really need to be careful when they use it. This is one that playtesting will definitely have to check out.

Can't wait for the full english alpha rules so I can spin up a playtest! I'll just use my mutant year zero dice.

It's still one try per session, and the task itself must have something to do with your Pride. I think the d12 is fair with these restrictions.
