Map locations

Wed 25 Oct 2017, 12:18

Are places such as Aldetstone, Begrand and Wailer's Hold going to be set locations with detailed information included in the main book? Or are these sample names?

Or have I totally missed an earlier update?

Hi!

The names on the map are not of specific adventure sites - these are instead indicated by the smaller symbols of villages, castles and dungeons, but unnamed as the GM can place any site of the corresponding type wherever he wants. The names on the map are instead for larger areas and features such as forests, mountains and rivers. Ruined cities such as Alderstone and Wailer's Hold are also included here, as Ruins is a terrain type in the game. These locations will be described in the main game, but not in great detail - instead, there will be a short overview of each ruined town, and encounter tables for generating events etc. Then, specific adventure sites can be placed in these ruins as the GM sees fit.
