Ravens Purge Campaign Map - first draft - thoughts?

Fri 22 Mar 2019, 14:49

Made a first draft for a map with the adventure sites from Ravens Purge. Has anyone done anything similar?

Thoughts?

("Hålan" is what I call "The Hollows" at the moment...)

Fun to see written up. The thread on where everything should be is hard to read with all the codes...

Grindbone mentions that it's "west of the woods", and that the Bone Ferrets employ Wolfkin from the Fangwood. I like it being just east of the Blaudwater lake. I haven't looked at everything else in enough detail to have much opinion on the rest.

While I was uploading the book into Realm's Work preparing for future campaign, I was thinking that it would be awesome if the authors provide "default" location for each adventure site.

My map is so much more random and disorganized than that.

Thankfully my players are delightfully rolling with it, and haven't read any of the setting material so when the legends turn out to be partial or mostly lies they are unsurprised.

I assume you just post the sticker of the specific location (i.e. Vond) over the castle drawing on the map, am I right?

This old thread is also good source for all locations from the game master's book, Raven't Purge and The Spire of Quetzel: viewtopic.php?f=78&t=4001#p32559

I spent some time to translate all to Fantasy Grounds map and it looks quite solid. A lot of walking between the locations though :)
