The word "Ferrale" is used in a few places, mostly in relation to the Rust Brothers. Is this an honorific they use, like Cardinal or something of that sort?

In our world, "ferrale" is probably Corsican or Italian meaning "of iron".

Since in the books "Ferrale" is always preceded by "the", it's probably safe to assume that it's some sort of military-religious title/honorific within the Rust Brothers.

It is a title for the high priests in the Rust faith, IIRC.
